About Epson EcoTank ET-4750
Epson EcoTank ET-4750 Driver for Windows – The Epson EcoTank ET-4750 ($499.99, or much less with among our Epson discount voucher codes) offers an all-in-one inkjet printer with an extremely attractive money-saving possibility: High-yield ink tanks that deliver incredibly reduced ink costs, compared to low-yield ink cartridges.
The initial price is most likely to cause sticker label stun. But remember that this all-in-one comes with 2 containers of each ink (black, cyan, magenta, and yellow), valued at about $118. Each container of black ink is ranked to print 7,500 pages; each color container has a web page yield of 6,000 web pages, for a total of 15,000 text web pages or 12,000 color web pages. That is a lot of web pages.
Design
The ET-4750 is small, measuring 16.4 x 19.8 x 10 inches, with an extended output paper tray. Pressing the 250-sheet output tray inside the body removes 6 inches of deepness. The top of the body is level unless you raise the pivoted ADF tray for feeding multipage documents.
The front panel joints upward and offers a shade touch screen, which gets on the small side at 2.4 inches. Along with touching choices, you can swipe through food selection offerings, as you do with a mobile phone. The screen feels small for comprehensive food selection navigation; however, basic procedures and setup choices are easily accomplished. There are simply 2 physical switches on each side of the screen: Home and Help. On the back are USB, Ethernet, and fax ports. You can put the ET-4750 on your cordless network, and it offers Wi-Fi Direct.
The ET-4750 has a 30-sheet automated document feeder (ADF), sporting activities, and a duplexer for two-sided printing. There are home windows for the ink tanks, so you can see your ink degrees instead of waiting on an on-screen warning of reduced ink degrees.
Print Speed
The ET-4750 performed well on our ordinary paper printing tests. Our five-page text document was published in 26.1 secs, or 11.5 web pages each min (ppm), much faster than the average of 33.5 secs. The Epson also beat the Editor’s Choice Canon Pixma TS9120 at 26.7 secs.
This Epson EcoTank published our six-page mixed text and video document in 1 min and 22 secs, or 3.7 ppm, which was significantly much faster compared to both the Canon TS9120 (1 min and 45.8 secs, or 3.4 ppm) and the category average of 2 mins and 7.3 secs (or 2.8 ppm).
Shiny picture printing had to do with fifty percent slower than the average. The ET-4750 took 5 mins and 4 secs to print our letter-size landscape picture on shiny paper. Comparative, the fast Canon TS9120 churned it out in much less compared to fifty percent that time, simply timid of 2 mins.
The ET-4750’s most outstanding speed got on two-sided documents. Using its very fast duplexer, this EcoTank published a 10-page text document in simply 1 min and 31 secs (or 6.6 ppm), which is greater than two times as fast as the Canon TS9120, which published the same document at 3.1 ppm.
Similarly, the ET-4750 used its duplexer to churn out a two-sided, six-page color document in 1 min and 46 secs, or 3.4 ppm. The Canon TS9120 did so at 2.3 ppm.
Copy and Scan Speed
The ET-4750 took 30.4 secs to copy a shade document. While this wasn’t much from range compared to many contending models we’ve evaluated, it was, unlike the blistering copy speed of the Canon TS9120, which made a shade copy in simply 17.3 secs.
Text documents are duplicated faster, relatively. The Epson duplicated a message web page in 12.7 secs, which was much faster than the 14 secs it took the Canon TS9120. The HP OfficeJet Professional 9025 kipped down fastest on this test, producing a message copy in 8.7 secs.
Using the ADF, the ET-4750 made a single-sided copy of a five-page text document in 1 min and 12 secs, or 4.2 ppm. Using the duplexer to earn a two-sided copy of a 10-page text document, the ET-4750 bested this speed, recreating the text web pages at 4.7 ppm, or in 2 mins and 7 secs.
The ET-4750 was slow at scanning in color at high resolution. Catching a 600 dpi color scan took 1 min and 42 secs, which has to do fifty percent a min slower than the average. The Canon TS9120 kipped down the fastest time on this test and produced a JPEG in 37.8 secs.
Scanning at 300 dpi in black-and-white got on the same level for this category. The Epson made a PDF in 12.4 secs. The Canon TS9120, however, kipped down among the fastest times on this test, producing a black-and-white PDF in 7.7 secs.
Print Quality
Text documents are published with relatively sharp and dark letterforms. The sides weren’t as razor-sharp as one of the most precise inkjet printers, but this inconsistency was visible after a very shut evaluation. Letterforms in duplex prints looked slightly lighter compared to single-sided prints, but this distinction was refined and not distracting.
Video published with natural-looking shades and were well-saturated, with no visible banding. The comparison was attractive, and mid-tone shifts were smooth. However, videos were significantly lighter in two-sided prints, as with text prints. There was much less comparison, and dark tones did appear as dark.
Shiny pictures are published with highly filled shades and lots of fine information. Shades looked all-natural, the comparison was pleasing, and structures were accurately recreated.
Duplicates of color video were most outstanding, accurately recreating the highly filled shades and fine information in the initial. The text was duplicated more than in the initial documents, and the letterforms didn’t change appearance as sleek. Duplicates of color documents transformed to black-and-white looked grainy and darker overall, and structures looked rougher compared to the initial. These black-and-white duplicates also produced banding in the video.
Using the ADF to copy documents presented distortions close to the top and bottom of web pages: Text looked either squished or extended in a couple of places; however, still understandable, the distortions were unappealing.
Epson EcoTank ET-4750 Driver for Windows – These same artifacts also were visible in checks of text documents, as we’d anticipated. Checks of photos had lots of information, and accurate, well-saturated shades. However, they were darker than the originals and shed information in dark locations, which shed deepness and flattened out. Comparative checks of the same photos made by the Canon TS9120 were truer to the initial, with more vibrant, more accurate mid-tones and fine information retained in dark locations.
